Mrs. Frankie Lynn Young, age 62, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022.
She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on May 9, 1959, a daughter of the late Frank and Ellen Woods Forrister.
Frankie was an outgoing person always enjoying her time with family and friends.
She enjoyed playing any kind of board or card game and cooking out with her family and friends. She was the family caregiver, helping anyone in need. Her greatest title was “Memaw” as she love every minute with her grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Todd Young and nephew, Ben Clark.
Survivors include her children: Mike Shaw and his wife, Hannah, Jesse Young and his wife, Kaley; sisters, Kay Clark and Tammy Wigley; grandchildren: Shane Shaw, Emma Shaw, Dawson Shaw, Scarlett Young, and Christopher Young; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Services to celebrate her life will be held Friday, February 25, 2022, at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Jason Slaughter officiating.
The family will receive friends Friday February 125, 2022 from 1:00 until 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
