Mrs. Florina Lopez, age 68, of Cedartown, GA, passed away at her residence Wednesday evening, May 11, 2022.
Mrs. Lopez was born in Forney, AL, on June 30, 1953, daughter of the late Jepitha Wooten and Bessie Hunter Wooten. She had lived in Cedartown for over 20 years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Lopez attended the Christ Gospel Church. She loved cooking, watching television and enjoyed shopping for “doohinkies”.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lopez was preceded in death by three sisters, Cora Rena Wooten, Ruby Wooten, and Jean Wooten, and by three brothers, Hobert Wooten, Clarence Wooten, and Franklin Wooten.
Mrs. Lopez is survived by two sons, Shuney Wooten and Chey Hamilton; a daughter, Shea Guzman; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister, Pauline Sanford. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lopez will be Saturday, May 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Smith & Miller Funeral Home with Rev. Rocky Calvert officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
Mrs. Lopez’s family will receive friends at Smith & Miller Funeral Home Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour.
Pallbearers will include Joey Wooten, Tuson Wooten, Kenneth Rampley, Brandon Sanford, Fernando Guzman, and Cody Ledford.
