Mr. Eddie “Milo” Williams, age 64, of Rockmart, GA, passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Mr. Williams was born on February 4, 1957 in Rockmart, GA, to his parents: Carl Thomas Williams and Ethel Ratcliff Williams.
Milo lived all his life in Rockmart, GA. He was an avid sports fan, including Rockmart Little League, Rockmart football, baseball and wrestling. He also enjoyed collecting Budwiser mugs and traveling to Florida with his buddies.
Mr. Williams loved his family and friends dearly and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Williams.
Milo is survived by his loving sisters: Brenda Chastain (Pete) of Taylorsville, GA and Wanda Garmon (Joe) of Rockmart, GA, nephews: Joey Garmon and Chris Williams and his niece, Anna Cochran.
Funeral Services for Mr. Eddie “Milo” Williams will be held on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at 2:00 PM in The Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Jack Goss officiating and with Mr. Kenny Dodd and Mr. Marshall Thaxton providing eulogies. Interment will follow the service at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen: Kenny Dodd, Marshall Thaxton, Tim Lewis, Gary Austin, David Bell and Marty Bell. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be the following: Curtis Lewis, Freddie Lewis, Bob Culver, Gerald Akins and Dean Pharo.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
