Mr. Donald (Rat Man) Henderson, born July 1, 1946, in Cedartown, Georgia passed away on July 18, 2022, at home with his family and friends.
Mr. Henderson was a veteran during the Vietnam conflict. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved riding horses, fishing, hunting, and guns. His family and grandchildren were the light of his life.
Preceding Mr. Henderson in death are his parents Ruth and William Henderson; brothers Jackie Jameson and Sambo Henderson and sister Nancy Cox.
Surviving Mr. Henderson is his wife Lynn Busby Henderson; son Chane Henderson (Mandy); daughter Leigh Vice; grandchildren McKaiden Moore (Adaline), Haven, and Brantley; sister Wanda Cook (David), special niece Chrystal Cole and a number of nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022, at one o’clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Litesey Funeral Home. The visitation will be Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from six o’clock until eight o’clock. The graveside will be held at The Polk Memory Gardens following the funeral service.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Chane Henderson, David Cook, McKaiden Moore, Joshua Tinnan, Vernon Wolfenbarger and Anthony Cox. The honorary pallbearer will be Dicky Nichols.
Rev. Sammy Pointer will officiate the service.
