Mrs. Diane Moody Jackson, age 65, of Rockmart GA, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at her residence.
A native of Rockmart, Diane was born September 24, 1956, daughter of the late Joe W. Moody and Pearl Davis Moody.
She lived the greater part of her life in Rockmart. Diane was a housewife and home maker and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Diane had a kind heart and soul.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Jackson, on March 2, 2006; son, Tyler Clay Jackson; and a sister, Debbie Moody Wilson, also preceded her in death.
Diane is survived by her children: Tonia (James) Brock, Jesse Jackson, and Adam (Helen) Jackson all of Rockmart; two brothers: James Daniel Moody of Rockmart and David Moody of Rome; nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.
Memorial services for Mrs. Diane Jackson will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Alvis Miller & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Henry White officiating.
Diane’s family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
