Local youth who need a few notebooks and pencils before they head back to school next week have a chance to fill out their lists with the help of the City of Aragon.
The city is set to host a Back to School Supplies giveaway on Friday, August 2 starting at 10 a.m. until supplies run out.
City officials are providing the supplies free of charge, and will include basics like notebooks, paper, pencils, pens, and even some bookbags.
The giveaway is one of several happening around Polk County in the coming days. Check back for more on the city’s event and others as it becomes available.
