Aragon PD, Public Works and city officials on Friday morning opened the doors to kids and parents to take home a few needed items on supply lists from around Polk School District.

And it was popular enough that Mayor Judd Fee had to run back out just minutes after it started to grab more supplies for local youth.

The city held the second year of the event on August 2 as one of many opportunities they provide annually to give back to the community. The city also hosts – with the help of the Davitte Lodge F&AM #97 for Aragon Children’s Day – as one of many events throughout the year geared toward families.

The next event coming up in Aragon is the 49th annual Aragon BBQ coming up in September. Check back for more as it becomes available.
