Parade on Main Street set for October 24
Cedartown is weeks away from Homecoming, but already plans are in motion to honor a queen and the court representing all four grades has already been announced.
The court this year includes seniors Ariana Belman, Carley Anne Casey, Kennedy Williams, Maryn Barrow, Sydnee Shelton, and Timmara Hernandez.
Junior representatives include Aireth Cruz, Coralee Brumby, Taneal Nixon and Zoryada De Leon-Gabriel. The sophomore class is being represented by Deselie Vazquez, Genesis Bahena-Roman, Irelle Brumfield-Penson and Kymble Bentley.
The freshmen court members are Allison Bridges, D’Aja Rowland, Dulce Guzman Zamudio and Elyn Frasier.
This year’s festivities during spirit week leading up to the Homecoming festivities for the final football game of the regular season AND Homecoming on Friday, October 25.
The court will be presented during halftime.
As CHS prepares for the 2024 Homecoming festivities, they are also calling upon a variety of folks to participate in this year’s Homecoming parade.
The parade through downtown Cedartown on Main Street is scheduled for Thursday, October 24 at 5 p.m.
Schools, community league football teams, cheerleaders, and other community entries are encouraged to participate, per CHS’ posting on Tuesday with a parade entry form.
