Mrs. Brenda L. Smith age 62 of Cedartown, GA. passed away May 31, 2022 after a brief illness.
Mrs. Smith was born November 6, 1959 to the late C.W. Jacobs and Mrs. Sudie Ducan Cumbaa.
Mrs. Smith loved talking, singing and her church. She was a member at The Esom Hill Church of God. Preceding Mrs. Smith in death is her father; sisters Effie Messick and Helen Letson; grandparents James Duncan and Lottie Duncan.
Surviving Mrs. Smith is her husband Tommy Ray Smith, mother Sudie; daughters Amanda Moses (Evan Smith) and Denise Jacobs (Stephen Gibbs); brothers Richard Jacobs, Charles Jacobs and Donald Jacobs; sisters Lisa Smith and Lilly Procter; grandchildren Autumn Gibbs, Madysom Gibbs, Allison Messick, Victoria Bailey, Joshua Bailey JR., Ashley Moses and Crystal Streetman; great grandchildren Nova Payton Moore, Emerson Bailey and Beckett Bailey. Many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles also are surviving.
The funeral service for Mrs. Smith will be held at the Esom Hill Church of God (42286 County Rd. 49 Piedmont, AL.) Saturday, June 4, 2022 at four o’clock in the afternoon. The visitation will begin at three o’clock until the funeral hour. Bro. Ronnie Kirkpatrick and Dennis Morgan will be officiating.
Internment will follow the funeral service at the Northview Cemetery.
