The Polk County Historical Society teamed up with Ferst Readers of Polk County for the perfect event, giving folks a chance to see historic hats of all kinds while also giving youth a chance to enjoy some stories about hats as well.
The event held on January 18 at the PCHS History Museum in Cedartown gave kids the chance to also enjoy some time with Winnie the Pooh, and families enjoyed free refreshments in between story times featuring the works of Dr. Seuss, Joan L. Nodset and Esphyr Slobodkina.

Historic hats from a local collection were also showcased during the Saturday event.
